I was lucky enough to attend SNAP Summit 3, the leading conference on user experience and engagement If you missed it, you can still watch the presentations at Ustream. SNAP was great for stimulating ideas like:

* How to make use of Opensocial for user acquisition
* Leveraging existing information, systems and infrastructure in a complementary manner that maximises user retention.
* Using standard microformats that are machine readable
* How to best utilise Firefox add-ons and also IE add-ons for growth
* Virtual currency and its impact on user action.
* Leading user action through design.
